Travis Goodman, CFA

Senior Financial Advisor

Travis Goodman, CFATravis Goodman serves as a Senior Financial Advisor for ALM First Financial Advisors. In this role, he works with the firm’s partners to manage service offerings and ensure that the Advisory Department operates efficiently. He also evaluates clients’ asset/liability portfolios, assessing their current balance-sheet compositions while designing strategies which maximize value while maintaining the appropriate levels of risk.

Mr. Goodman joined ALM First in 2003, bringing his experience in a number of asset/liability management fundamentals to the firm.

Mr. Goodman has a bachelor's of science degree in business administration, with a double major in finance and marketing, from the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Cullen Coxe

Financial Advisor

Cullen CoxeCullen Coxe joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2003. As a Financial Advisor for the firm, his primary responsibilities include reviewing clients’ asset/liability portfolios, as well as designing and executing financial strategies that provide the best value proportional to each client’s desired risk profile.

Mr. Coxe has lengthy experience in trading and investment portfolio management. He also has had extensive interaction with the secondary market, including mortgage-loan origination, production, funding and hedging.

Before joining ALM First, Mr. Coxe was a bank portfolio manager and trader, responsible for a $4 billion mortgage-backed security portfolio. In this position, he researched, analyzed and executed trades involving mortgage-backed, pass-through securities, as well as collateralized mortgage obligations. Additionally, he hedged the portfolio on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and planned and forecasted balance sheet strategies based on various interest rate scenarios. Prior to serving as a portfolio manager for the bank, he managed its liabilities and all borrowings with a focus on reducing the cost of funds.

Mr. Coxe has a bachelor’s degree in business with a major in economics from the University of Oklahoma at Norman.

Stacey Wilkerson

Financial Advisor

 Stacey WilkersonStacey Wilkerson joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2005. As a Financial Advisor, her responsibilities include reviewing clients’ asset/liability portfolios, and designing and carrying out strategies that capitalize on value yet remain within clients’ set risk limits. She has also been instrumental in developing and implementing the firm’s online services, including ALM First On-Demand and the Liquidity Forecast Model.

Before coming to ALM First, Ms. Wilkerson was the commercial card project manager at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where she served as a computer programmer for six years.

Ms. Wilkerson holds an MBA with a concentration in financial services from the University of Dallas; and a bachelor’s degree in finance, management information systems, and general business from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Brian Park

Financial Advisor

Brian Park serves as a Financial Advisor for ALM First Financial Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for reviewing the asset/liability structure of client portfolios as well as the development and execution of investment strategies that maximize value while maintaining appropriate levels of risk. Mr. Park also actively participates in new product development for ALM First. In addition, Mr. Park was responsible for developing and maintaining the mergers and acquisition products, as well as the ALM validation products.

Prior to joining ALM First in 2007, Mr. Park served as an analyst for an electronics payment company.

Mr. Park holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Robert Perry

Financial Advisor

Robert B. Perry is a Financial Advisor with ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC, responsible for advising multiple financial institution clients on asset/liability management and investment strategy. In this role, he also performs scenario analyses and portfolio reviews for clients.

Before joining ALM First, Mr. Perry served as Managing Director of the ALM and Investment Strategy division of DataTech Management in Los Angeles, California, and Chief Investment Officer for First Coastal Bank in Manhattan Beach. Previously, Mr. Perry was a Principal and Product Portfolio Manager at Smith Breeden Associates, Inc., where he managed Smith Breeden’s Enhanced Cash and Enhanced Equity Strategies. From 1996 to 2006, he managed Smith Breeden’s bank consulting group which included the non-discretionary asset management and risk-reporting businesses.

In 1992, Mr. Perry published an article, “Mortgage Portfolio Prepayment Rates: Dangers of Standard Geometric Annualizations,” in The Journal of Fixed Income. Prior to joining Smith Breeden in 1991, he worked as an analyst in the risk-management area of Centura Bank in North Carolina.

Mr. Perry has more than 20 years of experience in the banking and bank-consulting businesses. Over his career, he has spoken at many conferences, performed board of directors education and consulted with many financial institutions in the areas of ALM and Investment Strategy.

Benedict Voit

ALM Advisor

Benedict Voit joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2008. In his current role as an ALM Advisor, Mr. Voit is responsible for reviewing clients’ asset/liability portfolios. He works with Standard Partnership clients and performs “what-if” scenario analyses to meet their specific requirements. In addition, Mr. Voit actively participates in new product development for ALM First and provides analysis for Merger Valuations and ALM Validations. He provides internal ALM strategy, as well.

Prior to joining ALM First, Mr. Voit worked at the Federal Reserve in Dallas modeling cash flows and department work hours. He also worked with the Los Alamos National Labs writing computer programs to model star behavior for the Theoretical Department of Computational Astrophysics.

Mr. Voit received a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Robert Brandt

Senior Financial Analyst

Robert Brandt joined ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC in 2009. In his role as a senior financial analyst, Mr. Brandt provides asset/liability analyses for financial institutions. His responsibilities also include assessing clients’ needs by analyzing the probable results of various strategies through scenario development.

Before joining ALM First, Mr. Brandt worked in the acquisitions department of a commercial real estate firm. While there, he applied the Argus software to perform valuation of office buildings, analyzed spreadsheets relative to possible building acquisitions and researched potential markets for growth opportunities.

Mr. Brandt holds a master’s degree in business administration from Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri at Columbia, as well as a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance and real estate from the same institution.

Jeff Briggs

Financial Analyst

Jeff Briggs joined ALM First in 2010 and is currently responsible for asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. He also performs various 'what-if' analyses to fit the needs of our clients. Prior to joining ALM First, Mr. Briggs was a Senior Pricing Analyst at JPMorgan.

Mr. Briggs holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Hafizan Hamzah

Financial Analyst

Hafizan Hamzah joined ALM First in 2010 and is currently responsible for asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. In addition, he also performs several types of “what-if” analyses which help our clients evaluate potential decisions. Prior to joining ALM First, Mr. Hamzah interned at a private wealth management firm in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Hamzah received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Alla Mikhalevsky

Financial Analyst

Alla Mikhalevsky joined ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC in 2010. As a financial analyst, Ms. Mikhalevsky is currently responsible for asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. She also performs various "what if," analyses to fit the needs of our clients. Prior to joining ALM First, Ms. Mikhalevsky interned in the Wealth Management division at UBS Financial Services.

Ms. Mikhalevsky received a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Texas, in Dallas, where she graduated with honors.

Taylor Pool

Financial Analyst

Taylor Pool joined ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC in 2010. In his role as a financial analyst, Mr. Pool provides asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. He also performs various "what if" analyses to fit the needs of our clients. Additional responsibilities include assessing clients’ needs by analyzing the probable results of various strategies through scenario development. Prior to joining ALM First, Mr. Pool worked in Treasury and Security Services for JPMorgan Chase, pricing securities for mutual and pension funds.

Mr. Pool received a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Igor Shneider

Financial Analyst

Igor Shneider joined ALM First Financial Advisors in 2010. As a financial analyst, Mr. Shneider is currently responsible for asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. He also performs various 'what-if' analyses to fit the needs of our clients. Prior to joining ALM First, Mr. Shneider worked at the United States Treasury Office of Economic Policy. He also worked at Smith Barney, where he researched securities and modeled client investment portfolios.

Mr. Shneider has a master's degree in accounting, and a bachelor's degree in finance, both from The University of Texas, Dallas. He has successfully passed the first two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam.

Roman Starsky

Roman Starsky joined ALM First in 2010 and is currently responsible for asset/liability analysis for financial institutions. He also performs various 'what-if' analyses to fit the needs of our clients.

Mr. Starsky holds a masters degree in accounting, and a bachelor's degree in finance, both from The University of Texas at Dallas.
