Jason Haley
Fixed Income Strategist
 Jason Haley serves as a Fixed Income Strategist for ALM First Financial Advisors, primarily responsible for fixed income analysis, strategy, and trading, as well as economic and market commentary. Mr. Haley works with ALM First’s financial advisors to develop appropriate investment strategies, recommending securities that meet clients’ specific criteria and executing trades on their behalf. Mr. Haley also performs credit analysis on the firm’s approved broker/dealers, as well as credit research on various investment securities.
Previously, Mr. Haley served with Cantor Fitzgerald, where he provided institutional clients with fixed-income products, portfolio analytics, and strategies. He has also held similar positions with other broker/dealers. Mr. Haley has a master’s degree in business administration/finance and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, both from the University of Mississippi.

Brett Walker
Assistant Fixed Income Strategist
Brett Walker joined ALM First Financial Advisors in November 2010, serving as assistant fixed income strategist in the funds management area. In this role, he assists ALM First clients with fixed-income strategy and trade execution, in addition to credit analysis. Mr. Walker brings an extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, investment accounting, and data analysis to ALM First. Previously, he served as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche in Dallas, TX, where he served various clients in the financial services industry. Mr. Walker holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a licensed CPA in Texas and has successfully completed the 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam program and is currently Charter Pending.

Brian Conard
Trading Operations Administrator
Brian Conard joined ALM First in 2010. In his role as the Trading Operations Administrator, Mr. Conard is primarily responsible for managing the trade ticket process from creation to eventual distribution to clients. Additional responsibilities include acting as a mediator between the client and the relevant broker dealer in all trading-related and safekeeping issues, including investigating trade settlement errors, monthly MBS factor adjustments and handling the safekeeping of dealer confirms with the ALM First trade tickets. Mr. Conard previously interned at ALM First in 2008 in the funds management department. Mr. Conard received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
