Treasury yields are drifting modestly higher following a quiet overnight session with London markets still closed for the Easter holiday. S&P 500 futures are down 0.31% a little more than an hour ahead of the open. There are no major economic releases scheduled for today, but James Bullard (St. Louis Fed), the most outspoken hawk of the FOMC, will provide his thoughts on the economy and monetary policy at an event this afternoon. The calendar for the rest of the week is relatively uneventful, particularly on the data front. On Thursday, Fed Chair Powell and ECB President Lagarde will participate on a joint panel hosted by the International Monetary Fund to discuss the global economy.
