Description:
The first portion of this session will focus on risk management lessons learned from the recent banking failures, how to revamp your institution’s ERM program, and how risk management fundamentals can position your internal audit program to navigate uncertainty. The second portion of this session will focus on the essential concepts (inputs, assumptions, and core logic) to understanding how models’ function and how effective risk management practices (back testing, challenger models, performance monitoring, etc) help mitigate model risk.
