June 25, 2019 Headlines
US Treasuries ended the overnight session essentially unchanged after reversing an initial rally on new Iranian and Chinese headlines. In response to the new sanctions, the Iranian government permanently closed off any chance of a diplomatic solution. With regards to China, three large banks had violated North Korea sanctions which would cut off their access to the US financial system. Today, we are expected to hear from a few Fed members including Chairman Powell, who is expected to discuss monetary policy and the US economy.
