It has been a choppy morning following conflicting headlines out of the Middle East.

S&P 500 futures fell nearly 1% after an Iran news agency reported that two missiles had hit a US warship. US officials have denied this report and markets have erased much of the initial reaction. Treasury yields are currently up 2-4 basis points across the curve. This week’s economic calendar is headlined by the April jobs report to be released on Friday. Several Fed leaders will be speaking this week, beginning with John Williams (NY Fed) this afternoon. This follows last week’s FOMC meeting that included 4 dissenting votes, the most since October 1992.
