Treasury yields are little changed to start the day in a relatively quiet end to a noisy week.

The Bank of Japan chose to keep policy unchanged, which is helping with the subdued tone. BOJ Governor Ueda repeated that that there is no current timeline on when/if there is another rate hike. Recall that the last BOJ hike sparked a somewhat violent market reaction, particularly in Japanese equities, as some of the Yen carry trades were unwound. There are no scheduled economic releases today, but we’ll get the first public appearance from a Fed leader later day when Philadelphia Fed President Harker gives a lecture at Tulane University.
