Risk assets reversed course and started to recover overnight after a proposed fiscal package in the UK sparked a two-day decline. US Treasuries participated in the interim rally as the 10-year benchmark now trades at a 3.89% yield, a level that was last seen in 2010. Yesterday’s Federal Reserve speakers continued their hawkish rhetoric while Boston Fed President, Susan Collins, admitted that additional tightening is needed to reduce inflation. Another five Federal Reserve speakers are on the schedule for today, headlined by Chairman Jerome Powell.
