Treasury yields are slightly lower this morning despite the rise in oil prices.
The 10-year Treasury currently sits at 4.54%, down 8 bps from Monday’s close, following the re-escalation of the war in the Middle East. US Futures are broadly lower, with semis taking the hardest hit. Dow futures are down 0.6 percent, S&P 500 futures off roughly 0.8 percent, and Nasdaq 100 futures shedding around 1.6 percent, putting the major indexes on track for weekly losses as the semiconductor sector continues to drag. Data is showing many investors are looking to take profits in the crowded AI space right now, which is contributing to the further sell-off.
