Treasury yields are down 4-6 basis points this morning as Brent crude futures fell below $75 for the first time since the Iran war began.

Risk markets are poised for a poised for a modest rebound today. S&P 500 futures are currently up 0.37% following yesterday’s 1.44% decline in the underlying index. Today’s economic calendar is relatively light. The MBA mortgage applications index rose 1% in the holiday-shortened week, with refinance applications up 3% w/w. Primary mortgage rates were little changed according to the survey. Later this morning, May new home sales data will be released.
