Treasury yields are unchanged to 1 bps lower this morning as Brent crude dipped back under $100 per barrel.
Brent crude went above $100 per barrel yesterday for the first time since May as the Bab el-Mandeb Strait saw attacks on two oil tankers. Investors are expecting further news about the war in the Middle East this weekend as President Trump continues to lob threats. Equity futures are set for a positive open after the largest sell-off in July yesterday. Many now turn to next week as 4 of the Magnificent Seven report earnings in the back half of next week. The hope is to get further guidance on capital expenditure growth and when these companies will begin to see returns from the massive buildout.
