Treasury yields are 2-3 basis points lower to start the day following a somewhat quiet overnight session.
Later this morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the April JOLTS report, which is expected to show just under a 140,000 decline in job openings to 8.35 million. Openings have declined from a high of 12.18 million in March 2022 but still remain above pre-COVID levels in the 7.2 million area. There are no Fed leaders scheduled to speak today, nor is there any new issuance of term Treasury supply.
